WELCOME

This journey started when our Managing Director and driving force, John Boyce, was gazing from his front window upon the decaying timber that was once Kings Wharf.

John decided to try to do something for the community and help restore the dilapidated wharves that made up Burnham's historic boatbuilding and engineering heritage.

That was the starting point and despite several hurdles including planning permission and licensing from the Marine Management Organisation, progress has been made.

We are grateful to the generosity of the Herring family for allowing us to include two further and serviceable wharves to the east of the town and enable us to pursue a desire to return heritage craft to Burnham’s waterfront.

We are also grateful to our many other contributors, both financial and those that continue to give time and effort to our restoration project.
