This vital restoration project would not have been possible without the core team dedicating their time and energy to to the many elements required to bring it to life. Alongside them we have been lucky enough to have had many highly skilled volunteers who have helped enormously with the work.

The BWH Board

John Boyce

Managing Director

Managing director and the driving force behind Burnham Wharf Heritage, John has been an international yachtsman for most of his life. This includes having been an Olympic Sailing Coach at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. John's mantra has always been "never give up" and this has stood him well in the many aspects of the work being undertaken by BWH.

Graham Dale-Jones

Director

Retired mechanical engineer, having spent 50 years designing and developing race engines for events such as British Touring Car Championships and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Graham is responsible for the design and planning of the wharfs.

Ian Harvey

Chairman

Ian joined as Chairman of BWH in 2023 having retired froma 40 year career in the insurance industry. Ian has helped with fundraising and seeking the various licences and permits to support the work.

Amanda Hales

Business Manager

Mandy has a lifetime in account management, most recently as manager of Burnham Storage Ltd. Mandy travels far and wide as an international netball scorer and keeps a close eye on all things financial for BWH.
